Make wine in Ribera d’Ebre, with its own brand. This is the objective that we set last year four wineries in the region: wine Pedrola Miravet Mill Rué Vinebre, Agricultural Cooperative warehouse Suner Ginestar and Benissanet.
After months of working teamwork, we can say that the scoundrel is a reality; white wine, fresh, fun and young, highly innovative in the area, designed for younger consumers.
In order to focus and improve the quality of varieties initially chosen for the project were implemented a number of practices in the vineyard, such as reducing the performance of the stock, driving it to produce less grapes -and through higher quality- pruning and leaf removal. We also took full control of the grapes and winemaking. The decision of the blend has been a joint effort, choosing those samples obtained higher quality, and leading to the final blend of scoundrel: Macabeo, Garnacha and a small percentage of muscat.
On 14 March we introduced the wine Ca Don Juan de Vinebre. It was the first public tasting very satisfactory, since the participants liked them. The atmosphere was superb with a concert by Eric Vinaixa the previous presentation of Gemma Carimi, Vinebre mayor and president of the Regional Council of Ribera d’Ebre and Pili Carballo Supor has given the project from the Regional Council .
